25+ Best Tea Party Favors Ideas 2022 For Birthday, Bridal Shower, Baby Shower, Wedding

In need of some inspiration for tea party favors so that you can provide the best possible present for your guests? You may use this page as a jumping off point to get some inspiration, and then modify one concept so that it fits the subject of your tea party, your budget, or the equipment and resources you already have at your disposal. If you bear in mind that many of the table place settings may serve as favors for your guests by labeling them with their names, you can save yourself both time and money.

  • Wrap a few servings of loose leaf tea (1 teaspoon generally equals 1 cup of tea) in a square or circle of silk, lace, or tulle fabric or in a square of pastel-colored cellophane and secure with a ribbon.  Or package the loose teas in a small wooden or pretty cardboard gift box and tie with a ribbon.
  • Personalize tea bags or boxed packages with guest names by cutting out a small square of card stock and punching a hole in the corner.  Tread the ribbon through the hole and secure with a knot.  Add a little written note on the back of the card for an extra special touch and arrange the favors in the tea table arrangement to double as place cards.
  • Little bath soaps and/or bath salts are thoughtful gifts, especially for guests that are often stressed by life’s pressures.  Either buy the soaps and salts in bulk at the store or create homemade bath goodies if you know how.  Present the soaps in a small box or fabric bag and the salts in little plastic or glass bottles.  Even arrange in a small gift basket.
  • Next time you are at an antique store or flea market, keep an eye out for teaspoon collections or simply buy at set at the store.  Wrap a teaspoon for each guest in ribbon with a name tag and perhaps also with a bag of loose leaf tea.
  • Collect antique teacups and saucers in addition to the teaspoons.  Place a bag of loose leaf tea inside the teacup or fill with chocolates, a sprig of dried flowers, or fresh flower buds.
  • Wrap chocolates, sugared nuts, or mints in a fabric bag.
  • Purchase little tins for loose leaf tea either from an antique shop or at a craft store.
  • Cookie cutters, especially in the shapes of teacups or teapots
  • Decorated sugar cubes
  • Potpourri
  • A CD with music selected especially for your guests, perhaps a special mix related to the theme
  • Books, especially miniature gift books
  • A homemade cookbook, perhaps with your favorite tea party recipes
  • Small scrapbooks or scrapbooking supplies
  • Antique picture frames, either with a special picture or simply a sheet of colorful paper with the guest’s name to serve as a place card
  • Homemade “coupons” with a unique favor chosen especially for your friend
  • Small votive or tea candles, arranged in a little gift bag with tissue paper or a transparent fabric bag
  • Mini potted plants or herbs
  • Miniature teapots and teacups
  • Homemade stationary with the guest’s name or initials
  • Homemade cookies or a slice of cake on a pretty plate or platter
  • Candies in a pretty dish from the flea market or antique store.  Secure the candies with transparent fabric and a ribbon to keep them from sliding around when guests take the gift home.
  • A tea cozy, handmade if you know how to knit or crochet
  • Antique napkin rings with a small note tied to each
  • Homemade chocolates shaped with teacup and teapot chocolate molds
